- Q. Does this coverage have a waiting period?
- A. No, there is no waiting period. You are covered for the full benefit amount from the first day coverage takes effect.
- Q. How much life insurance should I have?
- A. There is no easy answer to this question. Most life insurance policies help resolve any unpaid debts and help pay funeral expenses, but some also supplement your income for a family or provide a fixed face amount. Although no amount of money can compensate for the loss of a loved one, you can help make sure your family’s finances are secure even in a time of tragedy.
- Q. How much coverage can I get?
- A. Benefit amounts are available from $25,000 to $100,000.

- Q. Will my rates ever increase?
- A. Yes, rates are determined by your age and will increase based on pre-determined 5 year age bands. Age bands begin at ages 30-34 and end at ages 70-74. Policy is not eligible for purchase after age 74. Age 75-80 band is available for renewals only.
- Q. Does coverage end at a certain age?
- A. Yes, coverage under this policy ends at age 80.
- Q. Are there any circumstances under which payments can be waived?
- A. Yes. We will waive payments for the policy and all riders attached to it for one six-month period if you become unemployed while the policy is in force. Exclusions & Limitations
- Q. What is the Accelerated Death Benefit?
- A. Your policy will come with an Accelerated Death Benefit feature that will allow you to receive 94% of the death benefit if you provide evidence that your life expectancy is 12 months or less. Once the benefit is paid, the policy is terminated. Exclusions & Limitations
- Q. What is the optional Accidental Death Benefit?
- A. In addition, you have the option to increase your benefit amount by purchasing the Accidental Death benefit which can pay up to an additional 100% of the policies benefit amount. This additional benefit will be paid for accidental death that occurs while this benefit is in force. Death must occur within 180 days following the accident. Exclusions & Limitations
- Q. What isn’t covered?
- A. If death results from suicide, while sane or insane, within two years (one year in ND), benefits will not be paid. Instead we will return all premiums paid.
- Q. What if I apply and change my mind later?
- A. There is no risk with this coverage. A 30-day free look guarantees your satisfaction. If you change your mind within 30-days, any premiums paid will be fully refunded.
